Hi everyone!!! WELCOME to flavorphull plates aka my kitchen diary <3 If you’re here, you probably love Indian food / want to eat healthier / just need simple, flavorphull meals that actually taste good.
Cooking Indian food used to feel SO overwhelming - so many spices, so many steps-but once I figured out the basic spices, I realized it’s actually one of the easiest ways to cook. The spices in our dishes aren’t just for flavor - they’re deeply rooted in Ayurveda and amazingggg for your gut, skin, and digestion.
Growing up, I used to think Indian food was unhealthy because of the way it’s made in restaurants -heavy, buttery, loaded with cream…but that’s not how it’s meant to be. Once I started making it at home, using real ingredients, ayuverdic spices and balanced portions, everything changed. My digestion improved, my skin started glowing, and I actually felt soo good after eating.
I’ve tried so many different diets and nothing ever stuck. I’d end up feeling unsatisfied with boring meals and low energy because I was restricting myself. A few years ago, I stopped restricting and started cooking the meals I actually love, but in a healthier way. I took my mom’s recipes and put my own spin on them: gluten-free options, high-protein alternatives, and making them simple but still so delicious. Now I’m in the best shape of my life because I changed my approach to food, and I want to help you do the same!!
Last year, I launched my Healthy Indian-Inspired eBook, and for years, I’ve been teaching you how to cook through my videos. There’s truly nothing that makes me happier than seeing you learn and cook on your own. <3
